TUTORIAL: Pan Following Intro-Part 1 (BASICS)
One request I see time an again is for how to "lock layers" in Producer. Well, such a feature does not exist and even modifiers do not lock layers to each other. However, pan following modifiers come close by aligning the subordinate layer's center to the master layer's center. The layer with the modifier uses the information the modifier reads from another layer to adjust its own behavior. Pan following modifiers can save time and effort.
If you've ever tried to pan follow a layer that is sized at other than 100%, you might check this tutorial out to find out what will work.

NOTE: The topic of Pan Following is provided in 5 Parts: 1, 2, 3, 4a and 4b. Over an hour of instruction on using ProShow Producer and modifiers.
