Re: Proshow Producer Internal File Extension
I'd just go into the help file. Something should be in there. Expect it to be terse tho.
PSH is the show file (Proshow Show)
PPR is the Proshow project file (list of all shows in the project)
PST is the Proshow Template (file ... if I remember correctly).
PXC is the cache file (roughly equiv to transcoding a video) - Photodex cache
PHD is the "database" and basically contains your last shows / projects open and other such stuff
CFG is the configuration file (your settings/preferences, basically)
The last 3 are automatically recreated if deleted. Periodically one or more will get corrupted and you may have to remove it.
.bxx are your backup files and are located in the folder where the PSH files are located. The "xx" are supposed to be the number of the backup (usually 00 to 09). Just change the extension to PSH to use.
.bak is the latest backup file. Just change the extension to PSH to use.
auto?????. psh, your autosave files (PSH and the PPR files) These get deleted if the program exits normally.
That's it in a nutshell. Look those things up tho ... there might be more info on them. The main things to remember tho are the PPR and PSH files ... since you'll be using them regularly.

Re: Proshow Producer Internal File Extension
One extra tidbit - on the .psh (show) file, it is a text file - you can open it in wordpad etc. and look at it. While much of it is a bit cryptic, you can see where it thinks images and other files are from the links in the file. Often helpful in figuring out why it can't find a file or something (I had one that had me a bit confused until I realized after snooping in the .psh file that the file I was editing in Photoshop and the one the .psh file was pointing at were not the same one )
