Proshow Online Training
I just got an email from Photodex. They are ending their online courses on September 1. I have one course credit and I must use it by then. They also said they have alot of new excting classes, which actually seems true.
Seems kind of wierd that they advertise their new classes and the fact that they are ending their online class product line in the same email! I suppose that the classes have not sold well. I didn't like the online real time format. I would rather watch a class at my leisure. Yes, you can watch it "after the fact" or download it too.
Wonder what they have up their sleeve?

Went to Photodex:
http://www.photodex.com/products/classes
.... and there was a note: ....
"All class credits must be used by September 1, 2010."
... & another one:
"ProShow Online Classes will be ending on September 1, 2010"
.. interesting .... does any one know, what's going on ???

Are they saying that, if you can't use your credits by the deadline, you're out the money? It just doesn't sound right, reminding me of store gift certificates with expiration dates, a winning situation for the store and a losing one for both the giver and the recipient of the gift.

Barbara,
Photodex is saying if you do not use them by the deadline, you will get a prorated credit for the classes that you have left. That could then be used for things like Style Packs or Upgrades, etc. I never took one of the classes, but it sounds like they are coming out with a new delivery system. I wonder what that might be?

Vernon, that sounds a whole lot better. It didn't sound right at first. Anyway, they're always up to something down there in Texas.
