Before and After - A "Crisscross Masking" variation
This is a tutorial on one of the many possible variations on the subject of "Crisscross Masking" that Debbie recently educated me on. It's 2:40 in length. Hey, it's not a short winded topic that can be covered in 50 words or less. If you are interested in gradient masks this could be helpful.

Jim -
Very cool! Another great idea to actionize (is that a word?).
Thanks for taking time to do the tutorial.
One never knows where/when these good ideas will show up (in a show).
Cheers,
Sandy

Thank you Jim for those instructions. A very interesting idea.
Guess what I will be doing after lunch today.....experimenting.
Masks and gradients have always been one of life's mysteries to me. I think I have now almost got gradients but will need to work on masking a bit more before I can say I understand.
Thanks again
Cheers, Diane

Don, Sandy,Diane,
This is plain fun for me. Not at all a chore. Kind of like solving puzzles. Doing entire shows. That's work. Good luck, Diane. There's no better teacher than your own experiences. Just start playing around and see what happens.

Jim,
You get the Lone Ranger Award for Excellence in Masking for this one! And if Debbie taught you how to do this, please let her have the mask to wear for at least 6 months of the year.
This is way cool and I can't wait to try it.
