Text in a coloured box

Postby noddie » Tue Feb 23, 2010 3:29 pm

Hi all
I was wondering if it is possible to make a coloured Gradient Text box, something similar to one on the Choice Backgrounds Presentation tutorial. If it is how would I go about doing this.
Cheers

Gwen,
if you've had in mind "Presentation" Template - where word "Horsemint" was enveloped int purplish box with outline & light shadow:

then - it is done like this:
Step 1: New layer - size about 600x300 - created as Gradient - and assign to it: Outline and Shadow.
Step 2: when handling the layer - "Break" the chain of X & Y Zoom - then you can "shape" it in any size you need.

Optional: if you need your Captions to move at the same spot/spots as this colored box -
use Captions Justification - Center - and have (copy) the BOX & Caption to have same X & Y coordinates.

Hope, this is what you were looking for, (if not - let us know again.....)
