Re: page curl effect
I've submitted two styles for a page curl effect to Mike.
The first style (Page Curl) needs only two landscape images. Layer 1 is the Initial Image and layer 2 the Next image.
The 2nd style (Page Curl with Portrait Image) adds a complicating factor: a portrait image in the middle of the screen. In this case, you will place your INITIAL Image in Layer 1, your PORTRAIT image in Layer 2, and your NEXT Image in Layer 3. The style will use your images in this order!
[UPDATE]
I included a PSH file (template style: that is, missing the images) that should be usable in Producer ver 3.x. It may give you an error message saying it was created in a newer version. However, no v4 specific features were used so it should work just fine.
This is the Demo (Demo 1: various speeds; Demo 2: random images used)

Brian!
I dunno about Master! But THANX!
But, this should help a lot of folk finally create a page curl effect! I had a heck of a time converting it correctly from a PSH-based file to a Style. The darned timings weren't the same ... for some reason. So, there was a bunch of tweaking.
(after this, you watch, Photodexs' Style Pack II will have a page curl effect style ... )
Enjoy!

[Updated]
For those wanting to try out the Page Curl styles, they're now posted in the Members Created section, here's a link
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11175
This file contains two styles to create a Page Curl in 16:9 ratio (HD format).
Since this style uses masks to create its effect, only PS Producer v4 or later can utilize it.
The first style (Page Curl) needs only two landscape images. Layer 1 is the Initial Image and layer 2 the Next image.
The 2nd style (Page Curl with Portrait Image) adds a complicating factor: a portrait image in the middle of the screen. In this case, you will place your INITIAL Image in Layer, your PORTRAIT image in Layer 2, and your NEXT Image in Layer 3. The style will use your images in this order!
Additional file included is a PSH file without images (i.e., template style ... without being a template).
It should be usable in Producer ver 3.x. It may give you an error message saying it was created in a
newer version. However, no v4 specific features were used so it should work just fine.

Okay is it just me or is there not link to a file? I only find a link to the demo show. Confused!!!!
Janice
Re: page curl effect
No confusion. Mike just hasn't had a chance to post it yet. There is a link to the demo to show what the effect looked like!
However, look right above your last post! I included a temporary link to a download file you can use in the meantime.

Re: page curl effect
Thanks Dale...Been waiting for this for a while
Re: page curl effect
Mike, Jerry, Jet,
It's pretty neat to be able to do a page curl with little more than a few mouse clicks! MUCH easier than in the past!
I've got another one I'm working on (an advanced approach ... see my Mt Evans/Mountain Goats show... where I have two portrait images page curled.) ... works fine as long as I'm not using images that came from a different cameras that used different sized images! Looks like a different approach is needed! (or something!)
Glad I could help! and Happy you all like it!
