Just purchased Vegas Platinum Edition Tried to capture video from VCR player, but it says my Dazzle DVC 100 could not be opened

What step am I missing. Your help would be appreciated

Most likely a codec issue -- my guess is the Dazzle is MJpeg, but I'm not sure.
Kind of thought that movie studio would handle mjpeg, but I may be wrong.
There is a utilitiy out there (free) called GSPOT that will report back what
encoding was used on the clip. Hope that helps.
