Free Photoshop tutorials, layer styles and fonts

I remembered recently a discussion up here about learning Photoshop.

I found to very nice websites that have lots of free tutorials, fonts, layer styles, shapes, patterns...you name it they have it.

The first is www.ladyoak.com You must register but it is free. Tons of stuff up here.

Another one I found is www.biorust.com again you must register but it is free. This one is a bit quirky. They give you 25 free download credits. You get two credits with every post you make in the forum. There are other ways of getting credits.

One thing I learned at these sites is about layer styles. While I have styled my own layers, I never knew that they could save them and reuse them! I have added dozens of new fonts to my collection and the layer styles make them really stand out!

One of the very best resources is Adobe's Studio Exchange. You have to register if you've never done it there before, but that's no big deal. Registering also gives you the ability to post in the forums there. Here's the link to the Actions collection:

Look along the right-hand side navigation bar where you'll find all kinds of categories and then spend way too much time downloading way too many things.
