Blufftitler - New Release Notifications

Postby dilyla » Sun Jan 06, 2008 11:19 pm

This is for those of you on the forum who have purchased Blufftitler (and I know there are many from PMs regarding my hallway show and heckydog/my subsequent challenge shows).

BluffTitler released a new version (7.17) as of Friday, January 4. Be sure to download your FREE (forever! ) update!

Many nice enhancements including: show length extended to 60 minutes (as suggested by co-Enthusiast "heckydog" :) ) and the ability to export as Flash.

Thanks, Diana. I wish they'd send mail to announce such updates, but no matter. I just downloaded it and will install shortly...unless I get distracted.

Thanks, Quim!

I changed the subject title to just reference "New Release" instead of a date so we can all continue to post the new releases as they come in. It helps when lots of people are checking periodically for more recent releases & help to inform everybody else!

Just looking to see what they did with the latest update.

All I can see is bugfix: relative link paths problem fixed has been added.

What do they mean by "relative link paths"?

Diana, I just downloaded the new version, but I can't remember and can't seem to find the info on the site: can I install over the top of the earlier version?

Barbara -

Yes, you can install over the old.

In fact, I believe asks you if you want to uninstall the old one first. I just say no, because I've got so much of my stuff & other "templates" per se in that original folder. Don't want to take the time to back them up, and put them back. Call me lazy.

Thanks, Diana. I thought I remembered that installing over the old one was okay, but there are lots of things I think can be done that turn out to be dead wrong.

Laziness works well. I'm all for it.

It seems like every time I turn around I'm updating BT. I love the way they keep on top of things and improvements. :D

Thanks for the heads up.

Boy, and I thought I was a night owl . . . .sheesh, 1:17am

All I can see is they added the Vertical Align parameters to the text layer. A nice feature but I'd like to see them do it to the picture and/or video layers too. :)

In case you haven't followed any of threads on the BT gallery it looks like michiel will be working on adding the ability to import layered psd files !! That will be awesome when they do it ! :D
