Save Photoshop Style

Postby BarbaraC » Sun Oct 28, 2007 10:51 am

I'm miffed by this and hope another Photoshop user knows how to do what I don't seem to.

I created and saved a new style that's a simple drop shadow where the shadow is on the right and bottom sides of a photo that sits on top of a transparent layer. I've tried this twice now, and all the settings work just fine when I click on the newly created style button--except for one of those settings: the angle. It insists on defaulting to the left and bottom, ignoring my setting for right and bottom.

Anyone know if there's a way to save everything?

Barbara

EDIT: Never mind. For whatever reason, the settings aren't all saved when you choose to save the style from within the Layer Style section. However, if you select the layer on the layers palette that you've applied your style to and then drag it over to a blank area of the Styles palette, ALL the settings are saved. Go figure.
