CamStudio is a free open-source screen capture software. It produces high-quality screen captures that you can save as avi files. You can read about CamStudio and download the program from the following link:
http://camstudio.org/
I'm simplifying the steps, but just run the PowerPoint while capturing the full-screen playback with CamStudio (the file will be huge, so make sure you have plenty of hard drive space), saving the results as an avi file. Bring this new avi file into Producer as a new show & then burn to a DVD as normal. Very simple process...
