I have used Digital Juice Swipes before. They are more acclimated for video production, but should make interesting transitions as a layer in a single slide. I have not actually tried them in Proshow. They come on the DVD in Quicktime format with transparency, so other than resizing to fit the slide you should not have to do anything to them other than get the timing right.

I have used swipes on a number of different presentations using the tut in this forum. There are some issues, but nothing terrible.

Jan,

I'm trying to get swipes to work. Putting one as a seperate slide seems to work best for me. Not sure if I'm missing something but I can't get the fx sound to play during the swipe.

Hi Jan,

With some research on the DJ forum I think I was able to get a Juice Swipe to look pretty good.

Joe -- Looks good -- what was the final incantation you used to get it all to
work as you expected (you indicated you had found some info on the DJ
site) ??

Mikey,

It is a pleasure to share some information with one of the most helpfulest guys on the board. Keep up the good work!!

I actually realized that I forgot to make the swipe and its alpha fill frame to match the picture.

I found the following settngs on the DJ forum for the settings for Juicer 3 to get the best output:

www.foutjo.com/ProShow/JuicerExample.jpg

The slide options to setup the swipe, its alpha and the picture are as follows:

www.foutjo.com/ProShow/SwipeSlideOptions.jpg

I hope this help,

Thanks Joe - makes sense - I have stuck a copy of your images and comments
in my word file that I keep all sorts of Proshow stuff in.
I really need to organize it a bit though (like add a table of contents) :D
