Capturing Sound and Vision from DVD's
Hi Folks!
I'm new on here and have been messing with PSP for a few weeks - the help and advice on here seems great!
Just wondered, what is the best software (assuming there is one available) that can be used for extracting snippets of other dvd'd for use within shows - putting any copyright issues to one side...?

I've found a great little 'open source' free program called 'avidemux'. I found this first when I was given a DVD, from a recorder, and asked if I could trim the adverts out of a film. The DVD was in dvd format with .vob files. The program was able to import these and using A and B markers sections could be marked for deletion. Very quick and easy to use.
Instruction seemed to be at a minimum but this link has the instructions, http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Avidemux
Here is a link to the download program http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/
