Keeping instructions always on top

Postby BarbaraC » Sun Mar 15, 2015 1:07 pm

How often have you wanted, say, a text file with instructions sitting in a corner and on top of ProShow rather than having to click in and out while working? It occurred to me this morning that, if I wanted this kind of thing, lots of other people did too, which meant some smart person out there had created a utility. An internet search quickly brought up exactly what I needed: DeskPins

In spite of its statement that it isn't compatible with Windows 7, reviews revealed that it is, so I downloaded it, installed it, and it works perfectly. I guess the company is just playing it safe because it's an older program.

It's not something that's necessarily needed on a daily basis, but this little utility is a blessing when the need does happen to arise.

DeskPins passes my requirements for tiny, unobtrusive, easy to install, and easy to use.
