New update to Imgburn. Ver 2.5.8 released today
Subject says it all. Last update was from March of last year.
Change log is pretty extensive, most of which I have no idea what they mean
And Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there.

Apparently it's blocking that installer site and the file it wants to download is an installer file, not Imgburn. My link goes directly to the Imgburn download page. I have installed it and used it, and it works fine.

Joe, I get that warning when I follow your link. I've looked all over the site and can't get the download without the warning. I guess I'll have to stick with the version I have for now.

Terry,
I think that what ESET Smart Security is blocking, is a link to this ad:
I looked at the site with two browsers:
Internet Explorer displays several localized ads and a/m link for a free scan.
Firefox with Ad Block doesn't display any kind of ad, and there is no trace of that link.
Perhaps you could try a different browser?
Ad Block Plus is an excellent add-on for Firefox (and for Chrome).

Click here to run a free scan for oudated drivers

No, that's not the link I was using. Evidently my antivirus (ESET) is refusing to download the imgburn file.
I was definitely using the download ImgBurn link.

I uploaded a zipped file of Imgburn 2.5.8 to my ftp. Below is the link. It's an exe file so I put it in a zip file in case there's issues with downloading exe's on this forum.

I have Firefox and Adblock Plus so maybe that's why I didn't see anything out of the ordinary on the Imgburn site. Unfortunately, because it's a free program, the author allows ads on his site. I've made donations to him a couple times and just made a donation to MediaInfo, another utility I use all the time.

Re: New update to Imgburn. Ver 2.5.8 released today
Thank you Joe. I've got it now.
Even with your link though - the next thing that happened was a notice that
"AVG PC TuneUp - recommended by ImgBurn
AVG PC TuneUp was installed. "
I don't like that. I realize it's a free program. I do support those who make programs I find useful available for free, but I don't expect to have to uninstall the extras.
Thanks for the help.

Sorry that happened. I didn't get anything like that with my installation and I'm curious if anyone else does.
I always select the custom option if it's available so I can see exactly what's being "offered". It has saved me more that once from installing a toolbar I don't need or want. That's why I dislike updating video drivers from ATi. They always want to install some stupid game of theirs.
The worst one that has happened to me recently was Google Chrome. I thought I was updating Google Earth and the next thing I know I have Google Chrome installed. I was pissed. I saw absolutely no notice about that. I deleted it as fast as I could and I let Google know what I thought of that little trick.
In addition to Adblock Plus I also have Malware Bytes Pro and Super Antispyware installed. Oh, and Spybot Doesn't hurt to be over cautious.

Re: New update to Imgburn. Ver 2.5.8 released today
IMHO the Imgburn site is, and always has been, a bit of a nightmare to navigate!
I opted to download the 2.5.8 file from Mirror 7 using Chrome... all went well, nothing untoward apart from the usual need to 'decline' a range of other toolbars etc during the installation itself.
Thanks for the heads up re the update!

Windows 7 HP 64-bit, Intel i5 2500K Quad Core, 8GB RAM, 1.0GB Ge-Force NVIDIA GTX 560i, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Producer 6 (GPU Benchmark was 336, now 324), a big old Canon 20D and a funky Canon Powershot G15

Another heads up! When I uninstalled the AVG PC thing, I also got a notice that "Installation of Trustworthy Toolbar was cancelled"

Thank you Joe for the file you posted to your site.
I spent nearly a half hour trying to get the download from their site and found each time that it was downloading the previous version although it had todays date. Their installer also insisted (no Opt-out) installing another program.
When I ran your download I had to opt-out of several other programs but finally got the new version.
Once again thanks for the download
