Others should take note of oldapps.com, maybe bookmarking it. You just never know when you'll have to go back to an older version because the new one doesn't work or because you happen to hate it.

I did a little research on that error because I have been using v. 2.5.7 for a while without any problems. Rather than go back to an older version of Imgburn you may want to read the replies in this thread on the imgburn forum and then consider other alternatives. Personally, I use Imgburn a LOT more than I use virtual drives and would prefer to have the newest version of Imgburn.

I switched to Virtual Clone Drive when I went from XP to W7 for the PC I built a few years ago. Virtual Clone Drive works perfectly fine for me. I don't use virtual drives as much as I used to since these days I prefer to extract the files using Winrar. But there are times when it comes in handy.

Forrest, I don't know all this stuff. My son does. He's my personal library of facts. :D

Excellent find Joe !! For others reading this thread note that that link identifies other issues caused by drivers installed by either Daemontools or Alcohol 120 that are NOT removed when you remove those apps - if you have ever had them installed, you should read the thread - there is an issue that is not a problem with Imgburn, but Imgburn has identified the issue caused by the drivers left installed by the other apps.

That's the only thing I read in the whole thread. Sorry, but I didn't want to be left out of the fun.
