Either get WinRar or one of the later versions of WinZip. A RAR file is just another version of an archive container and you just need to find a program that will do the extraction for you.

WinRAR can also open ISO files (read only) (which was another reason I purchased it some time ago). For some reason, I am unable to connect to the winrar web site tonight ( http://www.rarlab.com ), but I replaced my copy of Winzip with winRAR several years ago and it has worked well (it is shareware - I have purchased my copy).

I use 'Extractnow' a nice little FREE download

Another freebie that will open those (and virtually all archive files like RAR and ZIP) is 7Zip.
