I need some advice on software

Postby RZKYBZNZ » Sat Feb 11, 2012 11:52 am

Can someone direct me as to some type of software that can create scripted text animation such as CaptionAlivePro?

If you are not sure what I am speaking of, here is a link to explain it better:

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks Texan for your response. But, I was looking for something other than CAP. Any ideas?

It's a bit pricey and with a learning curve, but you could use Adobe After Effects. It is a bit of overkill, but it would open up doors to a lot of other possibilities.

You can also use Photoshop if you have it; but adobe is complex to create motion graphics and requires lots
of effort in creating incremental movement with many layers.

The two programs I recommended simplify the process and expdite the final output......

If you find anything that competes with the two I suggested make sure you post the info.......we'd like to
be aware of options.........

Good Luck

You can try Bixelangelo by outerspace software. But you will also need BluffTitler to play the show.

Bixelangelo can create the text and do a whole lot more besides that. The neat thing about it is it not only records the strokes but it records the timing of the strokes so everything is written at the exact same pace that you would write it. Some of these other programs look very mechanical, like the youtube sample shown.

If you're just looking for something cheaper that does the same thing as CAP or Bixelangelo I don't think you'll find it.
