Using Qt output in Final Cut

Postby Time Traveler » Sun Jun 05, 2011 11:01 am

I don't seem to be able to use the QT film format output and then have it load into Final Cut Pro for further work and adding chapter marks.

What I end up having to do is to export out as a mpeg format (which is not readable in FCP either), but can be brought into Compressor. Inside of Compressor I have to know the time code for each chapter mark I want to add, but it does work.

I would like to do this in FCP instead, however. Any other Apple users have a work around?

Steve
