Chrissy,

Your laughter makes me laugh. And I'm sure Eddie could use a good laugh too. Twas worth all the work.

mikey,

I can appreciate your apples and bunnies, but why do my bunnies take so long to appear when your apples are ready right away?

I certainly understand what you're saying. But when you compare our apples and bunnies to youtubes potatoes, you have to admit their potatoes are playing a lot sooner than our bunnies even when you have 500MB potatoes vs a 45MB bunny.

The logic is irrefutable and inescapable.

Joe

I think youtube uses mashed potatoes instead - I suspect it is how the streams are handled. I'm not sure, but I think presenter downloads the whole thing before it plays. If you notice youtube, you can see on the progress bar at the bottom that it is downloading while playing (and if it can't keep up, it stalls).

See, Barbara has hijacked this hippo thread with her turnip remark. And she promised to keep her turnips away from mikey's bunnies. Tis a sad day indeed.

mikey,

That's my whole point exactly. Why DOES Presenter have to download the whole thing before it starts playing? Answer: it shouldn't have to. Oh well.

Hi Joe,
The show loaded instantly to me, but even if it would have taken hours buffering, that would be worthy. Sooo funny.
Loved it !!
Merry Christmas !
