Avidemux question

Following some advice from this board, I downloaded avidemux. It has a nice feel, but I can't quite master the basics. In a clumsy way, I figured out how to isolate the segment I want, but I can't save it as a video file. Am I missing something obvious?

I've never heard of this application but did you try asking someone in a forum specifically geared to that software?

The English language version of the link you provided does not accept new questions. I'll search, but still will likely need help from Third Party Apps.

This software is used to synchronize speech with video. For instance, if lips move before the word is uttered, the program will let you adjust the speech and video by using + or - keys and then saving the avi.
