Drag & Drop in a Template

I was looking at one of the templates available here. It looks like on several of the slides there may be 6 -20 pictures. I used "select file" to load the template. However, in another template it says to use "drag and drop" to load the layers. How does one go about doing this. This technique could make the templates a lot easier to use.
