Creating a lightning flash effect

Postby Producer Addict » Sun Apr 15, 2007 6:04 pm

In a couple of Mark Ridouts shows (www. ridout photography.com), he makes lightining flash with thunder clap. Does anyone know how to do this? This is my first post.

Thanks

This is how I did it but there are probably different ways to do it.

slide 1: picture 3 sec with cut transition
slide 2: a blank slide 0 sec with a with a white background and .25 AB transition
slide 3: picture .1 sec with cut transition
slide 4: is blank slide same as slide 2 with a .5 AB
slide 5: picture .1 sec with 3 sec AB

Is this what you mean?

Hi Toad. Please can you be more specific about the transition time in time in slides 1 and 3. Thanks.
