Looking for backgroind pictures

Postby dnavarrojr » Tue Mar 27, 2007 9:53 am

When I go looking for background images for my slideshows, I search google images for "desktop backgrounds" and "powerpoint backgrounds" and I always find what I need.

There are tons of free sites out there with great images you can use in your presentations. Here are a few examples:

This might seem an obvious place to look, but I've found some great images, good resolution too, on microsoft office - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/default.aspx

wow, great selection. Thanks for the tip. I tried all sites already, number 2 and 4 my virus program is giving me a "spyware website" warning but the 1 and 3 are clean and what a nice backgrounds they have. Thanks again.

Good site but be careful, tho'. As is often the case, "free" in this case has some strings attached that may be an issue:

FreeFoto.com is the largest collection of free photographs for private non-commercial use on the Internet.
The comprehensive, yet easy to navigate site is free to private non-commercial users and for sale to other users.
Prices start from just $30US for Internet use with A5, A4 and A3 high res 300 dpi versions also available.

(emphasis mine) So if you are building a show that is only for your own use, I think you'll be fine. Building something as a commissioned sale won't be.
