Changing SLIDE Time w/Out Affecting Key Frames

Postby Curtiscop » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:41 pm

Hello All,

Yes, "Another Key Frame Question" (sortof) ...... Please help on my situation:

I made a blank slide 20 seconds long
I added 4 different photos / layers
I adjusted each layer to the correct synch / timing (which varies for each slide)
Then .... I realize after adjusting all layers, I have 5 seconds of the slide I don't want.
I want the 'total slide time' to be 15 seconds, instead of 20.
(FYI ... none of my last key frames are at 20 seconds ... they are at 5, 7, 11, and 15)

If I change the total slide time to "15" ... it throws the timeing off with my keyframe settings.

QUESTION: How can I "AFTER SETTING KEY FRAMES" ... change the slide time,
without affecting all the keyframe settings on each level?

In advance ....... "Thanks SO much !!!"
:o :)

One of these tutorials might help:

Change Slide Time Without Affecting Keyframes ... keyframes/

Add/Remove Time from Keyframes ... move-time/

Repositioning Keyframes (Soon to be an article on the Photodex site) ... sitioning/

Changes: Adding titles to the links ... each of the darned links became truncated and they're impossible to tell what each link is for without actually clicking on them...

You will need to experiment with this, but here's the trick: Right-click on a keyframe and use Add/Remove Time from Keyframe. Negative numbers remove time. The time is removed from the right of the KF. It is important that the KF be a distance away from the ending transition (not inside, and not right at the edge). If you have to pull a KF out of the transition, even the ending KF, do so, temporarily.
