What version of photoshop are you using. Are the fonts you added from the dom's files listed under your fonts in photoshop? I will load up photoshop and see if I can re-create your problem.

Ok, just ran the action in Photoshop CS2 and it worked fine. My guess is the action was written for CS or CS2 and the commands in the action just don't work in Photoshop 7. That's just a guess. To add text just click on the "T" over on the left of your screen in Photoshop. This will create a text layer. You can choose your font up top, there's a drop down box. If you can run the action and add the balloon (but without text) to your picture you're fine. Just move the balloon to wherever you want and size it however you want. Then add the text and move it over to the balloon. The balloon action just automates all this for you, but you can do it manually. I hope I didn't confuse you even more :) .

Hi Jan,
If you are just wanting the comic type of effect. I have used plug in filters from the site below that has similiar (user variable) effects. The filters are free, all are very good quality. The filter I am referring to is "Illustrator", in filter set 2.

Hi Marlene, very nice. How did you post that. I have tried to (copy - paste) on postings too, but it does not appear to be an option for me.
Thanks!

Hi Dan,

I asked Mike (mgregg99) some time ago how to do that, he replied

"You can embed images in your post as long as you have the image uploaded to a server. All you have to do is know the URL where the image is located and surround it with the IMG command."

He also gave an example image (but I can't copy it to this post).
