Thanks again! I finally had time to play around with the comic strip photoshop action. Really easy to use once viewing your tutorial (which is very nicely done). What better time to use it than with Halloween...

Hi elshagon,

Thank you very much for your feedback and for this great sample : very nice use of my action.
Are you the Batman on this pictures ?

Can I post it on my site, or even better could you post a comment to show what you did ( a simple copy/cut of your message above with the sample).

balloons

Postby nanda » Thu Jan 18, 2007 12:36 pm

Dear all,
I really love the comic effect. Have some nice ideas with it.
Unfortunately I can't seem to get the balloons right. I follow all the steps, but the balloon
I make is very small. When I try to make it bigger the letters blurr.
Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? I really want to finish my project!
Thank you very much for your effort!

Dear Dom,
Thank you very much for your quick response!
I use Photoshop for the comic effect.
I followed all your suggestions at if1/ but still only get a small balloon.
In the tutorial the balloon comes into the screen just as big as it is designed.
When I follow the exact same steps, I only get a mini mini balloon.
I really want to finish my picture but can't seem to find the problem!
Hope you have some other options??

Very strange. :(
Does it mean you can't modify the size of the balloon (the step before adding text) ???

One option you could try is #2 : only make the comic effect in photoshop and add the balloon and the text in proshow.

Well I finally watched the tutorial, got started and everything was great until I went to add the text. Its says: could not complete the command because of a program error. Any suggestions! I can just do the comic effect and add the balloon as you suggested. Just wondered what I was doing wrong! Cheers Jan[/img]
