What to charge?

I want to offer DVD shows as a service, but I am unsure what the "going" rate is for putting them together.

I have thought of charging by the hour...I have also thought of charging by the "minute" of video.

I realize that what you can charge depends on where you live, but I would love to hear "ranges" of what people get to put slide shows together.
