Template HELP!!!!!

Postby JaniceMBrown » Thu Nov 13, 2008 7:46 pm

Okay all...I am very much a newbie and have been putting off showing my ignorance in here. However, I officially raise the white flag and am begging for mercy. I have a .psh already created that I want to add a one slide template to. Is that possible? I have tried everything and when I add template it takes away my whole show. Is there something easy I am missing? Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Hi Janice...what I do is open a new project, add your psh show to the project...also add your template..you will have two tabs at the top..your psh show and the template you chose, now you can toggle back and forth..open the template, copy it...open your psh and paste it in where you want it...I hope that helped..(you can have a lot of shows in a project if you need to)

Oh my gosh. I actually did open a project and had the two tab thingies. I was like, okay, what now??? So here I was with a 12 picture template on one slide trying to write down everything and manually create it on the .psh. Wow...never thought about copying. geez...what a bone head I am. Thank you so very much. I am on my way to try it!

An easy and uncomplicated way to do this if you don't want to use project mode is to start with no show open, choose/insert the template you want into a totally new show, copy the whole thing (by highlighting the slides and doing a CTL+C). Then close that new show without saving, open your other show you wish to put it in and then just paste (CTL+V) it on the end of your already made show.
