Missing File In Template

I see someone else has asked this same question. But my question is when I open the template it asks if I want to find the missing files and I say no, but when the complete template is open there are all these messages in the grey area( this is the area I usually put the photo into on the slide.) that say the files is missing. How do I put the photo into this position. I hope this makes sense. The area is balck and the writing is large and in white. I usually get this when I move one of my photos around and it gets lost to the show.

HI Penny

Hold down the CTRL key as you drag and drop your photos into the timeline. Release the CTRL key before you release the mouse button when the small + sign is over the frame you want to drop the photo into.
