slide styles

Postby beaucourt » Fri Mar 15, 2013 3:08 am

I want to use the "next 1" (created for 11 slides - time 16 seconds) slide style from photodex for example for 6 or 7 slides. To do that i remove 4 or 5 slides. I want to save the original time for this 6 of 7 slides, but at the end there is a remaining time during which a black screen appears. If a change the original time, the 6 or 7 slides go faster, but the reaming time with a black screen stays. Probably the solution is simple, but i don't see it. Can somebody helps me ? Thanks for an answer.

Hi Eric and welcome to the forum :D

I'm changing the style "Next 1" to suit 7 pictures. Here is how:

After deleting the last 4 layers, my last layer is "Landscape Image 7" in Layer 7.
This layer has 17 keyframes: Keyframe 16 is at 13 sec, and keyframe 17 is at 19 sec, after a transition of 1 sec.

Put your mouse on keyframe 16 and RIGHT CLICK.
This will bring up a pop up menu. Choose Add/Remove Time from Keyframe.
In the next pop up menu, in Time, write -5 (minus five). This is a negative value, telling Producer to reduce the time.
Click OK

Your slide is now shorter by 5 seconds, having a total time of 12 seconds, with a 1 sec transition before and after the slide. If you wish to maintain the original time of this slide, change the duration of the slide from 12 to 16 (but I don't think that that's necessary)

And, remember ! whenever you can't find something in Producer, it's probably some RIGHT CLICK MENU :D

I followed your instructions and all works very well. Your answer solves many problems I had! By the way your 3D tilt effects vol.2 are very nice. Thanks again Eric
