If you just need to backup, then you can simply do this from within Producer, by exporting your styles to a folder of your choice on your computer.
In Producer 5:
Manage Effects > Slide Styles >
Select the styles that you need to backup
Then press on Export.
After this you can find your backups in that folder that you chose.

You're coming up against one of two things: (1) You're trying to delete a style that's built into Producer, or (2) you haven't yet told Windows to shut up and go away. One of the first things I did was go into Control Panel > User Accounts > "Change User Account Control settings" and then I dragged the slider just one stop above the bottom. After that, I had a few spots where Windows still told me I couldn't delete my own file. In those cases, I right-clicked the folder, chose Properties, and then went to the Security tab, where I told Windows that anyone could do anything they wanted in the folder.

Either that, or he's trying to delete a style that he manually put in the program's directory, where it doesn't belong.
Producer "thinks" that it's one of the program files, and is trying to prevent him from deleting it. :D
