Three frame slide
Trying to make a slide that has three seperate frames, all the same slide (same fram, same size) Wanting one
large picture to move under neath the frames but the whole picture will always be in all three frames.
can't figure that out. Tired three frames with three maskes and 1 pictures which didn't work. Tried 3 duplicate pictures but they won't all move together. So I want the 1 big picture that initially takes up all three frames and allow me to man the one picture that will show thru all 3 frames at same time
Thanks

Re: Three frame slide
Todd, I may not be visualizing this correctly, but if you're saying you have a landscape photo that you want seen so the left side of it is in frame 1, the middle of it is in frame 2, and the right side is in frame 3--all three of those framed parts being static--and then beneath them, the full photo is in motion... You'll need 3 of the same photo in exactly the same position, and then for each of those three, you'll need a frame with a mask beneath it. Inside each mask, you'll place the photo. All you'll be doing is repositioning the frame/masks without touching the photos inside those masks. The bottom layer can be sized and moved however you like.
I just re-read your post, and now I'm really confused. Are you saying you want the photo to move through the frames while the same photo is in the background also moving and, hopefully, not in some other direction? If this is so, there's no need for masks. Just the 3 frames.

I think I have trouble understanding myself sometimes. Will try to explain better
Three frames.
I want 1 landscape picture beneath the frames so that the picture is broken up into the three frames. Yest at the
same time, I want a small panning motion left to right (or however).where it looks like the whole picture is moving under the frames. Just can't figure out the layers
I can have three masks with three pictures underneaty )the same picture) but if I any movement, I have to move eacyh picture sepeartly and it wouldn't look like only 1 big picture
Does that make any more sense?

Re: Three frame slide
Use the setup I initially described. The 3 masked images must be in identical positions. When you pan them, the pan settings for each must also be identical.

Not sure if I'm on the right track but my thought is:
Go to Layers - Editing
click on the plus sign, choose "Add from Media Source,"
choose the "border standard 3 up.png"
You can then pan or zoon the picture which is underneath the three frames.
You can also unlock the X or Y zooms and increase or decrease the size of the frames.

Re: Three frame slide
OMG. That works perfectly. Didn't even think of looking there. Would still love to know how that is made so that
if I wanted more frames I could create it on my own. Just not understanding how it works (I'm very anal that way...
need to know everything about something I am doing)
Thank you

To get detailed instructions you'll want to visit a Photoshop forum to find out how to do that kind of thing. This forum is mainly for topics regarding ProShow software.

Debbie - don't want to hijack this thread but am not sure where to post this query.
When I click on your link - Google opens up with an automated screen that completes the query and takes me to the site. Never seen this before

Mike, your post got me curious, so I gave it a try and was surprised by the same thing as you. Animated, too! It's nothing but a too-cute time-waster, and it makes me wonder what possessed Google to create such a silly effect. Just because they could?

I just looked it up and discovered it's not a Google site at all. Never heard of it before.

Hi Joe,
Actually, the acronym stands for, "let me Google that for you."

I have done just one slide on this . I put everything the way you suggested but it's letting the picture come
through BETWEEN the slides Not sure what I'm doing wrong
(The frames, picture, masks are not all lined up right but this is just a test to get the style down right
Thanks for all your efforts with this
