A little bit late here but . . .

You can maybe make something similar yourself using BluffTitler. There's a show called Snowglobe that you can download from the BT Gallery: http://www.outerspace-software.com/gallery/viewarticle.php?ArticleID=426.

The components are on separate layers so you can isolate the globe itself and then add hands (your own?) and a mask for the video or photo to be added as the overlay. A few keyframes later and you can have your own style.

Here's another sample I did a couple years ago using a different type of globe from a VCP tutorial in After Effects, The orb is from a couple years ago, the video from 2006:

Orb and Baby wmv, 3.4MB, 10 seconds, 960x540

You could do the same thing, I think, using this video. If you want it, I'll make the video available without the baby (my grand-daughter) in a 15-20 second long video.
