Thought this might be of interest to some. Amazon.com is offering over 5,000 free karaoke MP3's. I don't know how long this will last.

I don't know why they're offering this but Amazon.com is normally a safe, reliable site. I've downloaded a few songs--no bugs.

I just checked it out, and even for free, I don't want any of it because it's definitely set up for karaoke, which means that a lot of the melody is lost, particularly when the melody is carried mostly by the vocals.

I wouldn't think you'd have to do that. The songs I downloaded were free. I didn't have to enter any credit card info although I have purchased from Amazon in the past.

It just that every time I click on the link
to download my selection it takes me to
the Payment page and asks for my credit
card information.

It won't let me download, but thanks for the
opportunity anyway.
