Postby shazmark » Mon Apr 16, 2007 5:43 pm

Anyone got any ideas for a song for the groom getting ready for the wedding, I have shania twain "man I feel like a woman' for the bride, but I am lost for the groom, I only have a few photos too so I would have to shorten it and then fade into the wedding from there, hope someone can help
cheers

I forget the name of the song, but I saw a wedding video with the groom section that used "I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride and I'm wanted Dead or Alive" and it just worked really well with the style of photographs.

Also, "God Bless the broken road that led me straight to you" or "Collin Raye - In This Life"

Angel Eyes Lyrics
Artist(Band):The Jeff Healey Band Review The Song (4) Print the Lyrics

Send The Jeff Healey Band polyphonic ringtone to your cell phone

Girl, you're looking, fine tonight,
and every guy has got you in his sights.
What you're doing, with a clown like me,
is surely one of life's little, mysteries

So tonight I'll ask the stars above,
"How did I ever win your love?"
What did I do?
What did I say,
to turn your angel eyes my way?

Well, I'm the guy who never learned to dance,
never even got one second glance
Across a crowded room was close enough,
I could look but I could never touch

So tonight I'll ask, the stars above,
"How did I ever win your love?"
What did I do?
What did I say,
to turn your angel eyes my way?

Don't anyone wake me,
if it's just a dream
'Cause she's the best thing,
ever happened to me

All you fellows, you can look all you like,
but this girl you see, she's leavin' here with me tonight

There's just one more thing that I need to know,
if this is love why does it scare me so?
It must be somethin only you can see,
'cause girl I feel it when you look at me

So tonight I'll ask the stars above,
"How did I ever win your love?"
What did I do?
What did I say,
to turn your angel eyes my way?
hey, hey, hey, yeah, awww

The name of the song Dave is talking about is BON JOVI - Wanted Dead Or Alive. A great song , very manly and you have plenty of places to cut and fade.

Hope this helps,

tnx so very much everyone, I allways know I can relly on you guys when I am stuck, isnt this a GREAT GREAT site to be a member of.
the song about the cowboy will suit just fine I think, cos, the suits they wore were like western long coats, and they actually put a bit of humour into the ceremony too, when the groom was asked if he would like to take the brides hand in marriage his two groomsmen pulled out toy revolvers, it was verrrrry funniee.
tnx cheers

No problem, my Mom suggested it for the video I am doing for my Brother's wedding. I think it is a great song too.
