Studio Cutz?

Postby dtpitts » Sun Feb 25, 2007 6:47 am

Just wondered if anybody had used Studio Cutz before? I have found some music I would like to purchase but have not seen that anybody has used this site. Anybody used them before? The price is $69 for a Business Longform CD, is that a decent price? Mikey has told me to keep checking out Digital Juice for their specials, which sounds great... but since I need a business track this week, I must go ahead and purchase.

Thanks for any feed-back....

Teresa

I know virtually nothing about their business and I didn't spend enough time to really figure out what's on the CD but that seems expensive to me for a single CD. Even at the regular $399 price, DJ's Backtraxx works out to about $15 per CD but the comparison may be apples & oranges, I don't know. Oh, and the Backtracxx 1 library has 3 CD's "Corporate and Industrial" in the set.

Teresa - what you have to do is watch their sales -- I just bought
a volume of "Motion Design Elements", a volume of StackTraxx
and a volume of JumpBacks for $75 ($25 each instead of the $249
regular price) on one of their recent sales. You can preview
everything on the site there. Of course, whatever you really
want will go on sale the week AFTER you need it, but what the
hey, that's normal :D Check out their "Juice Drops" and the
little webtv of how to use them. Several of those volumes are
on my wish list - they are cool since they are layered images -
each image may have 20 layers and you can use whichever
layers you want to create something. Now if only my wife doesn't
find out ...

Here's a music site: http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free ... ental.html ,this guy has a variety of music and he only askes for $5 a song. I've used a lot of his music and really enjoy it. Don

Thanks! I found some music and have signed up for the Digital Juice ENewsletter, hopefully they will alert me for specials, etc. That site is awesome. Lots to look at, stuff I did not even know was possible! Mikey, you are right the Juice Drops, cool stuff! Good grief, and to think a year ago I thought I was so cool doing my plain ole' photo montages!!

Also, I found some on the incompetech site, thanks Don!

Lots to learn, and I am having a great time learning!!!
