Royalty Free Music needed but not on-going

Postby judyfirth » Sat Jan 22, 2011 11:11 pm

I make slideshows on a regular basis mainly for friends or family so have not worried about copywrited music. I'm currently making one for a local politician to showcase her achievements and work she's done over the last 4 years.
Most of the time the slideshow will be running in the background at meetings but I'm aware that I can't use just any music. I've been into many websites to buy some music but don't want to go overboard as this is a 'one off' thing.
Most of the instrumental music sourced so far are also very short in length. This show is quite long so will need around 5 pieces. Any suggestions please !

Hi Judy,

Look in the section Music Discussion of this forum.
There are quite a few threads on this topic, with a lot of sources.

Thanks for the advice. I had looked in this section but after spending more time searching more sites I've come up with some nice instrumental pieces from Purple Planet.

I've used this site and have had good luck with it. Every month they have specials, both audio and video, to buy DVDs for the cost of shipping - 8.41 USD each.

This month's free audio...http://www.footagefirm.com/newproductionmusic.html
