Markers for music

Postby nancyrbogen » Thu Sep 09, 2010 12:32 pm

I synch slides to music rather than the other way around. It's fine with a short piece of music, and one can see an example in my Share Gallery on Producer and also on Vimeo:

I'm now working on a more elaborate piece involving many more slides, and it's proving to be rough going. Does anyone know of a way to drop removable markers onto music in Producer?

Thanks,
Nancy

Nancy,

This feature is not available yet. Please tell Photodex to implement this feature. Hopefully the more requests they get it will move higher up on the priority list.

Tim,

I already told them.

Meanwhile 2 new developments: 1) I can do a makeshift using the counts of the music on Soundbooth. 2) A cousin of mine who is a theoretical physicist at an Israeli U and teaches an advanced computer science course is going to assign it using Producer as a senior project.

Maybe that'll shake up Paul Schmidt :) .

See ya at the circus?

Best,
Nancy

If by circus you mean the Proshow conference, then no, unfortunately, I won't be attending. I wish I could though, as it will be a great learning experience for all levels of users.
