Audicity and Window 7
Has anyone used Audicity with Windows 7? Do you have to only use the Beta version of Audicity or can you use their regular version?
Thanks,
Sue

Whether you say you can, or whether you say you can't....you're right!

I've been using the 1.3.11 beta for several months. From what I recall on the download website, only the beta works with W7 for right now. Took a little getting used to but I'm doing okay with it now.
But if you want to try an older version give it a shot. The worst that can happen is it won't work.

I went from 32-bit XP to 64-bit Windows 7 and had no problem running the older versioni of Audacity.

I've been working with the 1.3.11 beta for several months as well without trouble on a 64-bit W7 machine.

Sue - This is 'old news' by now but I've been using version 1.3.10-beta for a year with Win7 Professional with no issues at all.
