Music/Licensing/Problems
Good Morning/Afternoon From Perth Western Australia.
I wish to put some classic/contemporary instrumental music on my show.
The show is for a wedding website in Perth WA but naturally has the potential of being seen World wide.
Q1: Do I have an issue with licensing etc if I download one of my CD'S?
or
Q2: Where do I find music that is free of license or licensing is not an issue?
Your help is always appreciated.
Regards
Dave (Todd)
PS The track is around 12 Min long. Maybe 2 to 3 tunes or one that can be faded out.

Q-1 yes
Q2 - scan through some of these threads in the music section for Royalty Free Music resources. Some are free and others you must pay a bit to use in public.

Suggest you ALWAYS read TOU (terms of use) before using in public - many times music is only for personal use. Just because the site says the music they have on their website is public domain, doesn't make it necessarily true or usable in public.
These are traditional classical pieces...
Kevin MacLeod's Canon in D might work - 5:55 min.

Prelude in C by Bach might work too
http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free ... =Classical
Then there's this one
Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G, Movement I (Allegro), BWV 1049
http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free ... =Classical
Finally this last one
Consort For Brass
http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free ... =Classical
Keep looking on the site in the classical area (scroll down) and you will eventually find the epic Wagner "Bridal Chorus" too.
Read his terms of use. He requires credit somewhere in the show. I usually put them at the end.
I haven't listened to all those all the way through but they might do in a pinch.
