Songs for my 1 year olds birthday slideshow

I am looking for songs for my son for his 1st birthday slideshow i am doing... i have done 2 for my daughter and have alot of good songs for her, but i am having trouble finding some good "son" songs...
so far i have:
Just the 2 of Us - Will Smith
I've Been Watching You - Rodney Adkins

i am not partial to any type of music, i'll just have to listen to it and see if i like it.

i will try to go thru older posts and see if i can find anything, but it's always easier to just start a new thread...

I used these two song's for my son's graduation last year:

Chromeo - Mamma's Boy

John Lennon - Beautiful Boy

Both worked well.

I just used Smile by Uncle Kracker in a show for my 3 year old grandson and it worked very well.

In childrens shows, I've also used:
Beautiful Boy-John Lennon
Let Them Be Little-Billy Dean

You might be able to find your son's name for a personalized Birthday song, I've used these several times for 1st Birthday shows.

thanks so far guys...
i will look into finding those songs and listen to them.

the show is not just a birthday show, it's a compilation from birth to 1 year old...
so will need multiple songs... my 2 shows i've done for my daughter have been roughly 20 minutes each.
and i've used "let them be little" by billy dean for hers, i was just hoping to use differ songs for my son... but that song is a GREAT song for kids shows...

For one of my grandchildren I used:
Mighty Like a Rose by Roger Whittaker
Baby Mine by Alison Krauss
As an introdution I used one of Mona's templates called water bubbles and added the song called I'm forever blowing bubbles. The template is free on this link http://seemonasblog.blogspot.com/2008/0 ... eebie.html
While you are visting have a look at Mona's other templates - I have bought a few from her and they are very good.

There's also Thank God For Kids, by either Kenny Chesney or the Oak Ridge Boys.
Also, my previous suggestion for the personalized birthday song is a good ending song for a first year show.

Nantory - i check that site out, it is very cute, and there is one of my son in there, so i'll have to see when the time comes, if it fits in there... i might make a seperate show of just his birthday, and use it in there...

i tried clicking on your show to watch, and it told me to run that activeXcontrol thing, and i did, but it just kept coming back... i'm assuming it's on my end somehow, cause i could not watch mine not my father's shows for some reason... anyone know why i keep getting that bar at the top???

Hi Brent,

I recently made a show for my 2 year old neice and used the personalized birthday song by Lunch Box and his friends. You can buy a song with your childs name sung in it for 89 cents. It is very cute. I learned about this on this site from Sandy B. (Thanks Sandy!) You can buy the song at Amazon. They have thousands of names you can choose from.
