Making show to sell

Postby tjdowning » Wed Apr 14, 2010 5:54 am

Hello,
Posted a question in the music section, but maybe this section more appropriate.
I have only made shows for family or friends and none for profit.

My boss is interested in possible me making a show showing her crafts she makes and of course would need to
put music in the show. We would sell these to people.

The dreaded question, what kind of music can I use that we won't get into legal trouble? I see the royalty free music and read about licensing, etc, but it frankly confuses me. Want to do it legally, but also don't want to spend a lot of money that we don't have to.

What do some of you do for something like this? Want instrumental music so if you could give me advise or direct me where to go, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Terri
