Need Free Music

Need Free Music for Shows

I would like to find sites that distribute free music, all I can find is freeplaymusic.com but surely there must be many more without having to worry about copyright© material.

Does anyone know where this is available?

Cheers Mark

You could try Creative Commons. They have licensing restrictions, but the music is free. Here is another site that allows access to creative commons music. http://www.jamendo.com/en/creativecommons

You could always buy royalty free music from amazon.com ... almost free for example 56 songs for $8.99
Audiomagic's Royalty Free Production Music Library Price: $8.99
or buy only the ones you can use for 99 cents each

There are several albums available on amazon.com for very low price.

Look in this section for other threads - there is one with a bunch of links in it. Though you aren't going to find free royalty free music that is as good as the royalty free stuff one pays for, nor is it as good as the regular popular commercial music that people seem to prefer.

If you need a lot of music, Digital Juice periodically puts their music sets on sale. If you subscribe to their (annoyingly frequent) newsletter, you'll know when the sales occur.
