looking for song ideas for sister's 50th
Hello -
I am creating a slideshow for my sister's 50th birthday party. I am looking for some really great songs to use. I plan to start off the show with pictures of her as a baby, then toddler, teenage years and so on. Any ideas on songs about girls? She was sort of a mischievious child, so something along those lines. I'm currently using Faith Hill's "She's a Wild One", but my sister is not that much of a country music fan so I think I need something different. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!

Not sure what style you're looking for, fast and fun, some sentimental? So just off the top of my head: of course, Girls Just Want to Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper, Breakthrough by Cheetah Girls, Isn't She Lovely - Stevie Wonder, Miss Independent - Kelly Clarkson, for the mischievous child...Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood, Forever Young - Rod Stewart, I Feel Like a Woman - Shania Twain (even though it's country) and Pretty Woman -Roy Orbison.
If you can be a little more specific about the mood, maybe I can come up with some more. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I am looking for upbeat and fun. "Man I Feel Like a Woman" might work, but let me know if you have other suggestions. I don't know the Cheetah Girls song so I will check that one out too.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

You can check this website for some suggestions from the 70s - 90s
http://www.inthe80s.com/toptens/toptensongs.shtml
or here http://www.oldies.com/product-view/00702.html
or depending on where you are, you could tune into VH1 when they feature artists from the the 70s and 80s
Do you know what type of music she listened to?

I'm not exactly sure what she listened to but I do know she loves Michael Jackson. Thank you so much for all the suggestions, I am going to check them out right now!

If she loved Michael Jackson maybe you could use Pretty Young Thing somewhere.
