Wedding slideshow - appropriate music?

Postby aliquid » Sat Jun 20, 2009 11:16 am

"The Host Of Seraphim"

I'm looking for something slow and emotional for the start of the day shots. To use at the getting ready and bride's magazine style shoot at the beginning of the day.

Looking for opinions and other suggestions of something slow and beautiful/emotional if you think this won't work.

That is definitely not my style, but others may have different opinions. I've used Grow Old with You by Westlake, Today I Met the Boy I'm Gonna Marry, sorry can't remember the group, like the Shirelles or something from the 60s. Canon in D is another popular one. You will probably get tons more suggestions here. Everyone has their own particular taste in music.

Thanks for your opinion and suggestions, much appreciated. I'm trying to find something that does not have any discernible lyrics/words and some type of dramatic/emotional soundtrack.

when I made a slideshow of my son's wedding I used a non vocal version of The Sun Whose Rays from the Mikado for the getting ready part. I have sent you a PM with a link for you to download it. I won't be offended if you don't use it :)

Go to Photodex and click on Mark Rideout OR go to his web page (I forgot where I found it) and open up his many wedding shows and listen to several of them. The music is great and I know you can get lot's of ideas for the music you want and style. I did.

Photodex has changed format, so..................

(1)Type in Mark Rideout Photography in Google

(2) Click on "slide shows"

(3) Click on his "album"

This takes you to 200 wedding slide shows

If you can not get any ideas from this, well.............at least I tried.
