An open thank you to Mel (Studio7)

Postby ChrissyC » Thu Jun 04, 2009 11:01 am

I just wanted to thank Mel (Studio7) in an open post for some help he gave me. I read a post from Doug asking about making a song longer...Mel offered to help him, I ran into the same problem working on a show so I wrote and asked Mel if he would help...he took the song I had and added an extra 2 minutes to it which fit my show perfectly....when I thanked him he wrote back and said he is only to glad to help anyone who appreciates the help and needs it, he wanted to offer his help here in the forum but he didn't want to toot his own horn so I'm tooting it for him! Mel has been in the music business for 37 years, he knows what he's doing....the song he edited is seamless after listening to it over and over I still can't tell where he extended it.
So if you ever need any help with music please ask Mel, he's such a gentleman....
Sorry if I embarrassed you Mel :D I just wanted people to know your in the music biz and can really lend a helping hand.
Thank you again Mel
huggs,
Chrissy

Your right Chrissy, Mel came to my rescue when I needed help extending the length of a song I was using. He did a great job and is a master at editing songs. Mel is a great asset to our forum.

Wow!
I will have to walk out the door sideways now.

Thanks for all the nice compliments, But we all do what we are best at.

The offer to help with Audio Editing is open to any members of the Forum, on average replies are sent within 5min

The impossible takes a little longer.

Thanks again

Jan -- you're gonna love this: the 9500 is the European version of the 9000!

Oh and the 9600 is the European 9100 like mine and there's very little difference between the 9000/9500 and the 9100/9600.

Dick, I love that you know stuff like that!! I so miss being able to be on the forum all the time. Work ( the rotters!) won't allow us to play on sites unless work related....go figure that one! Doesn't matter that I am working longer hours than what I get paid, it's just that they don't know if you are on your lunch, in early or playing when you shouldn't be! Once I am home there isn't much time as I am doing lots of projects but that is a good thing - getting paid for what I love! I miss you all and you are in my heart all the time. Cheers Jan
