How about "Running on Empty" by Jackson Browne?
We skipped the light fandango, turned cartwheels 'cross the floor.
I was feeling kinda seasick, but the crowd called out for more...........

How about "Run" by Collective Soul?

An obvious one is "Born to Run" by Springstein.

Personally, I like two by Leo Kotke: "Peg Leg" and "Vaseline Machine Gun" they have great rhythm.
I don't think you have to be "cute" with then name of the song. It's better to get something that
sets the pace and the tone. Of course, you have to satisfy the students. All my suggestions are
at least 25 years old.

How about "On the Road Again" by that old codger, Willie Nelson?
