Movie Clapper

Postby czali » Sun Aug 05, 2007 10:07 am

I found this today and thought I would share. You can enter in your text and generate a image for download. You could probably bring the image into photoshop and seperate the top of the clapper and animate it in PSP and adding a sound effect.

Clapper

Thank you Colleen. This works great. I changed the background color to white and the clapper stands out very well. Plus it's FREE

Thanks again,
Douglas

Hey Colleen, Thanks, did you notice there are a bunch of other things it can do? I've got it bookmarked for future use. Thanks, Don

If anyone is interested, I noticed that Digital Juice also has a
"movie clapper" in volume 10 of their "Swipes" collection
(swipes are designed for transitions between things). I don't
think you can customize any text on it, but it is a great
transition - sort of comes in, grows to fill the frame then
spins out (maybe 2 or 3 seconds total).

You can't have too many gadgets or too much disk space !!

Lots of PIC and Arduino microprocessor stuff too !!

Yes, I saw that Don. The newspaper would be cool for a birthday or a chronicle of someone's life. I am going to try to use it when I do a show for my son in September. He is turning six!

Clapper - animation

Postby trulytango » Mon Aug 06, 2007 1:27 pm

Hi Colleen

Thanks for the link... and for the idea to animate it in Photoshop. I've had a go - here's a link to a little demo:
