Adjusting several layers at once?
I have a number of slides each with six or seven layers. I would like to add identical vignettes (white border) to the images in each layer. Is there an easy way to do this? Perhaps something similar to an action in Photoshop.
Re: Adjusting several layers at once?
Go to the slide which has the desired vignette on it. Select the layer with the desired vignette.
In Slide Options, select the ADJUSTMENTS tab. The vignette option should be selected. Right click over the "edit" option and select the following option from the popup menu: "Copy Vignette to Other Layers."
This opens a 3 column window.
• The LEFT Column is the FROM column. This is the column from which you're copying settings (The Layer you are copying from should be selected by a radial button)
• The CENTER Column is the WHAT TO COPY column. These are the features that you're going to copy to the "TO LAYERS" ... If you go to the very bottom of that list of features, you'll see that both features of the Vignetting option are selected (if not, select both).
• The RIGHT Column contains the slides/layers to which you'll be copying the selected features of the selected layer. The "+" to the left of each slide metaphor expands the slide to display each layer. Select the layer to which you want to copy the selected features by clicking on the small white box to the right of each layer. Selecting the white box to the right of the slide metaphor selects ALL layers for that slide. Selecting the box located to the right of the indented layer metaphors selects each layer individually.
Finally Select COPY & CLOSE to apply the selections.

Re: Adjusting several layers at once?
Thanks. That was very helpful.
Re: Adjusting several layers at once?
Glad it helped! Lots of options are "hidden" under the right click button ...
